Great Britain Captain Anne Keothavong has gotten her wish of another home tie, after Great Britain were drawn at home against Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

The Great Britain’s Fed Cup team sealed qualification into World Group II play-off after defeating Serbia in Europe/Africa Zone Group 1 play-off on Saturday.

Keothavong was really happy with the home tie after the draw on Tuesday.

“Words cannot describe how happy we are to be drawn at home playing Kazakhstan in April.” Keothavong said.

“We all saw last week the fantastic atmosphere home fans create and the role they play in lifting our players beyond their limits.

“This will be something for everyone to look forward to and I hope the team can do their part to inspire more people to take up the game.”

The Copper Box Arena in London is expected host the play-off, which will be played in the weekend of April 20-21.

Russia, Japan and Slovakia also home have home tie against Italy, Netherlands and Brazil respectively.
